Vardevan Grigoryan to Replace Sergey Bagratyan in Parliament Committee
The Permanent Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture, and Environmental Issues of the National Assembly held a meeting today after a long break. At the beginning of the session, the committee chair, Varazdat Karapetyan, announced Sergey Bagratyan's departure from the committee.
“Mr. Bagratyan has left our committee, causing great sorrow to all of us. We are thankful to you for being part of this heavy work for nearly two years, and we all appreciate the significant contribution you made to the acceptance and discussion of projects. Now, the ‘Bargavach Armenia’ party, as the deputy chair of the committee, has proposed to consider Mr. Grigoryan's candidacy. We have known you for a long time and are aware of your previous experience in the position of the committee chair, and we are pleased that you are joining our team,” said Karapetyan.
The committee expressed its support for Vardevan Grigoryan's candidacy, which was also approved by Sergey Bagratyan. It is worth recalling that Sergey Bagratyan had left the ‘Bargavach Armenia’ faction in the National Assembly and is currently serving as an independent deputy.
