I Paid 1600 Drams for 3 Hours and 4 Minutes of Parking, Garegin Miskaryan Says

Garegin Miskaryan, a member of the Citizen’s Decision Social Democratic Party, wrote on his Facebook page:

“This is the underground passage center on Northern Avenue, where I paid 1600 drams for 3 hours and 4 minutes of parking at the automatic payment machine. It’s not only that the machine gives a 'soldier’s lunch receipt' instead of a cash register receipt, there’s also no schedule at the entrance and no warning signs indicating that the parking is paid and the hourly rates are as follows: this much for one hour, that much for two. Moreover, for the three hours I paid 1600 drams, I only got back 200 drams in change instead of the 400 drams I should have received by paying 2000 drams, effectively charging me 1800 drams instead. Since everything is automated, there’s no one to whom I can complain, and there’s not even a phone number on the receipt to ask, ‘What are you guys doing? Come on, Andok, weren’t we told that scams don’t cost money?’
