Attempted Suicide Prevented from Victory Bridge
On September 10, at 05:21, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a citizen was trying to commit suicide by jumping from the Victory Bridge in Yerevan, necessitating the assistance of rescuers. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
A team from the fire and rescue unit of the Yerevan Rescue Department and a rescue team from the special operations division of the Rescue Services Administration, along with an operational group from the Psychological Support Division, were dispatched to the scene.
With the joint efforts of the rescuers and citizens, the suicide attempt by the male citizen was prevented. A counselor from the Psychological Support Division provided psychological assistance.
