Turkish-Azerbaijani Initiative Opens Huge Front for Armenia, Artsakh, and Diaspora
Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the Analytical Center, wrote on his Facebook page: “Turkey and Azerbaijan are creating a joint media platform aimed, according to official clarifications, at addressing security threats. Considering the fact that Turkey and Azerbaijan have recently formulated their common agenda in foreign policy, security, and economic directions, this is yet another harmonization fitting into the logic of Turkey-Azerbaijan unified political action.
It is clear that informational policy plays a key role in the context of hybrid warfare; this can be seen in the context of propaganda wars or aggressive informational actions, whichever the case may be. The function of this media platform is to provide informational support in the ongoing hybrid war, and under conditions of border tensions or combat actions, it will surely ensure the informational component of military operations—with Turkey's active participation and the mobilization of common informational resources.
This Turkish-Azerbaijani initiative opens a huge front for Armenia, Artsakh, and the Diaspora. This was undoubtedly present even before this development, but today, more than ever, there is a need to consolidate the existing informational potential within the Armenian reality and to serve a unified agenda.”
