Stepantsminda-Lars Road Open Only for Cargo Transport

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, due to the state of emergency, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open only for cargo transport vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to restrict entry to Georgia for foreigners remains in effect. The ban does not apply to cargo shipments.
