Hearing on Appeal Against Decision to Terminate Case Against Judge Davit Grigoryan Postponed
On September 9, the Court of Appeal of Armenia postponed the hearing on the Prosecutor's Office's appeal against the decision to terminate the criminal case against Judge Davit Grigoryan of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction and court session secretary Gor Vardanyan, as the working hours had ended. The next court session is scheduled for October 1.
It should be noted that on June 5, Judge Davit Balayan decided to halt the criminal prosecution against Grigoryan and Vardanyan due to the absence of criminal elements in the case and terminate the proceedings. Judge Davit Grigoryan was charged under part 1 of Article 314 of the RA Criminal Code (official forgery). Gor Vardanyan, the court session secretary, was also charged for assisting in the forgery.
