Fire in Talin: 61-Year-Old Man Sustains Burns
On September 8, at 15:31, the crisis management center of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report of a fire in the grass cover on Tumanyan Street in the city of Talin.
Two firefighting units from the Aragatstotn Regional Rescue Department, one water truck from the Shirak Regional Rescue Department, and two water trucks from the Talin municipality (7 tons each) were dispatched to the scene.
Before the rescuers arrived, 61-year-old Slavik H. (born in 1959) sustained first-degree burns on his left foot. Emergency medical personnel provided first aid on site, and the citizen declined hospitalization.
The fire was contained by 16:28 and extinguished by 22:28. The wooden structures of the roof of one of the houses on the first alley of Tumanyan Street were burned (approximately 30 square meters), along with two windows and around 900 kilograms of accumulated animal feed.
