Armenia's Minister of Defense Meets with Polish Ambassador
On September 9, Armenia's Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan received the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Armenia, Pavel Ceplak, and the military attaché, Colonel Wojciech Wisniewski. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
The Minister congratulated Colonel Wisniewski on the start of his mission in Armenia and wished him productive work. Emphasizing the importance of Armenian-Polish cooperation in the field of defense, the Minister noted with satisfaction that, despite restrictions due to the pandemic, efforts from both sides have allowed for the resumption of events planned in the framework of Armenian-Polish bilateral military cooperation in 2020 since the beginning of September.
Ambassador Ceplak, in turn, expressed the Polish side's readiness to develop cooperation. The parties agreed to restore the dynamics of cooperation.
During the meeting, the Minister of Defense also presented the emerging security issues in the region.
