33-Year-Old Resident of Abovyan Charged with Killing a Fellow Citizen

The investigation by the Abovyan Investigative Division of the Kotayk Regional Investigative Committee has concluded regarding the separated part of the criminal case initiated on the incidents of murder and illegal possession of firearms.

According to the data obtained during the investigation, on June 23, 2019, around 23:00, a 33-year-old resident of Abovyan had a dispute with another resident of the same city regarding some obscene remarks made in the yard of one of the buildings in the 2nd microdistrict of Abovyan. The resident of Abovyan expressed a desire to meet with the 33-year-old man to clarify the situation, but upon realizing that the meeting would not take place, he directed insults at the 33-year-old man in his surroundings to pressure him into meeting over the offensive remarks.
