Children of Tegh Community to Attend Reconstructed Kindergarten from September 14

The issue of the kindergarten in the Tegh community of the Syunik region has been present since 1992, with the building having been severely damaged as a result of shelling. In recent years, only one group was operating on the first floor of the kindergarten, allowing just 45 children to receive preschool education.

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure's Territorial Development Fund of Armenia has implemented the subproject for the reconstruction of the Tegh kindergarten within the framework of the "Social Investments and Local Development Program." With funds from the World Bank and co-financing from the government, the building is now ready for operation. The total investment has amounted to 153 million 360 thousand drams, of which about ten percent was contributed by the community and the "Vardanants Knights" organization.

The reconstructed kindergarten is seismically safe, equipped with heating and fire safety systems, fully furnished, and solar panels have been installed. The kindergarten's yard has been improved and fenced, and a playground has been built.

The modern and comfortable kindergarten in the Tegh community will welcome 100 children starting from September 14.
