Artsakh Lifts Entry and Exit Restrictions
The Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of Artsakh, Zhivair Mirzoyan, has signed new decisions according to which entry and exit restrictions to the Republic are lifted.
From now on, no permission from the authorities is required to exit the Republic, and the mandatory requirement for a PCR test for entry to the Republic is also abolished. However, medical personnel at border control points will measure the temperature of each citizen on-site and will conduct external examinations.
The reason for lifting the entry and exit restrictions is the sharp decline in COVID-19 cases reported recently in the Republic of Armenia, consequently reducing the associated risks. Alongside the lifting of these restrictions, efforts to enforce anti-epidemic measures within the Republic will be intensified.
Minister Mirzoyan called on citizens and visitors to maintain maximum vigilance and strictly adhere to the rules established for containing the pandemic.
