The Dismissed Director of the AIDS Prevention Center Files a Lawsuit Against the Ministry of Health and the Center
The Director of the Republican Center for AIDS Prevention, Samvel Grigoryan, has filed a lawsuit seeking to be reinstated in his former position and to recover compensation for forced leave. This information has been obtained from the judicial information system.
Samvel Rafik Grigoryan filed the lawsuit on April 30, 2020, against the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and its state institution, the Republican Center for AIDS Prevention. He requests the annulment of subsection "zh" of clause 6.1 of the employment contract signed on May 5, 2018, the invalidation of order No. 24-A issued by the Minister of Health on February 24, 2020, and his reinstatement as the director of the successor organization in case the Republican Center for AIDS Prevention undergoes reorganization. Additionally, he demands the collection of an amount equal to his average salary for the entire duration of forced leave from the Republican Center for AIDS Prevention.
The lawsuit has been assigned to Judge Zarouhi Nakhshkaryan.
