Second Test Result Negative for Ashot Hovhsepyan, Accused in Alcohol Poisoning Case
The second test result for Ashot Hovhsepyan, accused in the alcohol poisoning case, has returned negative for coronavirus. His lawyer, Gor Gevorgyan, informed NEWS.am about the development.
"Since one of the test results was positive and the other negative, he will undergo another test to clarify the situation definitively," the lawyer said.
It is worth noting that Ashot Hovhsepyan is currently suffering from pneumonia and has severe diabetes, requiring insulin injections several times a day.
In connection with this case, two individuals have been detained. Between August 31 and September 5, a total of 46 poisoning cases were recorded in the country, resulting in 17 deaths. Among these cases, 29 were registered in the Armavir region, with 9 fatalities; 15 in Yerevan, with 7 deaths; and 2 in the Kotayk region, with 1 fatality.
