When Will the Parties Return to the Negotiation Table and on What Agenda? T. Abrahamyan
The former adviser to Artsakh's ex-president Bako Sahakyan, Tigran Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “After the military operations that took place in Tavush, there are two additional important questions in the foreign policy agenda. First, when will the parties return to the negotiation table and second, on what agenda will they discuss?
The first question is crucial to understand whether the parties have any desire to return to the negotiation process, or if we are facing another round of military operations. Second, what positioning will Armenia and Azerbaijan secure around the negotiation table, and what will the return be centered on?
We are in a quite delicate period. Any statement from Armenia, Artsakh, and Azerbaijan, with all its implications, will have a significant impact on future developments, primarily in terms of responsibility. It is essential to calculate all actions and statements in the long term. There is no need to open important cards for resolving current, secondary issues.”
