Talin Police Uncover Illegal Drug Trafficking Case

On September 2, officers from the Talin Police Department detained a 51-year-old resident of the village of Aragatsavan on suspicion of drug possession and use, who had 24 cannabis plants in his possession, weighing 5.25 kg. This information was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

On the same day, the man presented 282 grams of a uniquely scented crushed-dried cannabis substance to the police from a livestock barn. According to him, he had grown the drug for personal use.

Expert examinations have been commissioned, and materials are being prepared.
