National Assembly Votes in Favor of Imposing Quarantine in the Country in Second Final Reading

The National Assembly voted in favor of the possibility of imposing quarantine in the country in the second final reading. During the voting, 70 parliament members supported the legislative initiative, while 19 opposed it.

The legislative initiative states that in cases of outbreaks, spread of infectious diseases, and emergency situations, upon the recommendation of the authorized state body in the field of healthcare, a quarantine can be imposed by the governor or mayor in the respective administrative territory.
