Ashot Hovsepyan's Condition Deteriorates Sharply During Poisoning Case Proceedings
The hearing regarding the detention of Ashot Hovsepyan, a defendant in the poisoning case involving residents of Armavir, was postponed overnight. Shortly after the session resumed around 3 AM, the 50-year-old Hovsepyan's health deteriorated sharply, and he was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Speaking with Armtimes.com, Hovsepyan's lawyer, Gor Gevorgyan, noted that this incident was likely due to his client's stressful condition. “He has third-degree disability, his blood sugar levels are very high, and perhaps due to lack of sleep and stress, he fell into convulsions, was trembling, and his condition worsened. The ambulance arrived, took his blood pressure, which was very high, connected him to oxygen, administered injections, and transported him to the hospital,” said Gor Gevorgyan.
According to Gevorgyan, they will inform the court if the condition improves so that a new hearing can be scheduled.
