VIDEO: No Green Space Will Be Given Up in Yerevan from Now On - Hayk Marutyan

Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan has addressed the necessity of preserving and restoring green spaces. “From now on, no green space in Yerevan will be relinquished; it will not serve any other purpose. Conversely, many areas marked as green spaces on the map, which have long ceased to be green due to lack of irrigation, will be restored. I have conducted a working tour of several green spaces in Yerevan, familiarizing myself with the existing issues and the efforts aimed at resolving them. The newly established community organization, 'Greening and Environmental Protection', is doing tremendous work,” he stated.
