Two Mercedes Collide on Yerevan-Sevan Road, Four Injured
At 00:49 on September 3, a call was received at the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations regional crisis management center reporting an accident at the beginning of the "Chayni" bends involving two vehicles, with injuries and a fuel leak.
A fire and rescue team from the Kotayk regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It has been determined that at the 23rd km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a collision occurred between a "Mercedes ML430" (driver: Hayk H., born in 1992) and a "Mercedes E320" (driver: Armen E.).
Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the "Mercedes ML430", along with three passengers from the "Mercedes E320" – Gurgen A. (born in 1994), Eduard S. (born in 1994), and Hovhannes H. (born in 1995) – were hospitalized at Abovyan Medical Center. Medical staff assessed Hayk H.'s condition as moderate, while the others were deemed stable.
Rescuers de-energized the vehicles and conducted roadway cleaning operations.
