SHVTM Begins Inspections of Agricultural Product Suppliers

Under the directive of SHVTM head Armen Kotolyans, inspections have commenced among agricultural product suppliers. This information is reported by the Public Relations Department of the Inspection Body.

Considering that the main harvesting of agricultural products will take place in the coming months, during which measurement devices subject to legislative metrological control (specifically scales) are used, the aim is to protect agricultural product vendors from the negative consequences of unreliable measurement results. At this stage, the Republic of Armenia's market oversight inspection body has initiated metrological supervision over companies selling fruit and vegetables throughout Armenia.
