Relatives of Kanhevsky Injured by Gunfire Undergo Surgery, One in Intensive Care
On August 3, in Halabyan Street of Yerevan, one of the relatives of Armen Harutyunyan, known as "Armen Kanhevsky," who sustained gunshot wounds, is currently in intensive care, while another has been transferred to a hospital room. This was reported to NEWS.am by lawyer Varduhi Elbakyan.
She noted that both young men have undergone surgery and their health status is stable.
Defense attorney Hovsep Sargsyan added that one of the injured is the son of Kanhevsky's maternal uncle.
According to preliminary information, four individuals with gunshot wounds have been transferred from Halabyan Street to various hospitals in Yerevan.
Investigators at the scene found blood-like traces and fired cartridges. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 34-104 (Attempted Murder) and Article 235 (Illegal Acquisition, Sale, Storage, Transportation, or Carrying of Weapons, Military Equipment, Explosives, or Explosive Devices) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
