Lepcius Street No. 2 to be Named After Usup Bek Temuryan

The agenda of the Yerevan City Council meeting scheduled for September 8 includes the item titled "Renaming Lepcius Street No. 2 in Yerevan after Usup Bek Temuryan." According to the provisions of point 23, part 1 of Article 12 of the Law on Local Self-Government in Yerevan, and in accordance with the regulations established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision No. 2387-N dated December 29, 2005, the Yerevan City Council decides:

1. To rename Lepcius Street No. 2 in the Kanaker-Zeitun administrative district of Yerevan in honor of the political, public, military, and national liberation figure, and friend of the Armenian nation, Usup Bek Temuryan, to "Usup Bek Temuryan Street".
2. This decision will take effect the day after its official publication.
