Criminal Case Initiated Following Gunshots Heard on Halabyan Street, Four Individuals Wounded

On September 3, 2020, at 14:40, the Mashtots division of the Police of Armenia received a report regarding gunshots in Halabyan Street, Yerevan. Four individuals were transported to 'Armenia' and 'Nairi' medical centers with gunshot injuries. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.

An investigative-operational group has been dispatched to the scene. An examination of the site was conducted, resulting in the discovery of blood-like traces and fired cartridges.

A criminal case has been initiated at the investigative division of the Yerevan city investigative department for the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts under features of Article 34-104 (attempted murder) and Article 235 (illegal acquisition, sale, storage, transportation, or carrying of weapons, military equipment, explosive materials or devices) of the RA Criminal Code. Expert examinations have been appointed, and a pre-trial investigation is underway.
