Armenia's Ministry of Health Spent Approximately $23.5 Million in Fight Against COVID-19 from March to September 1

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia has provided information on the actual expenditures for the prevention, control, treatment, and other complex measures against the COVID-19 pandemic during the period from March 2020 to September 1, 2020. The table includes only the expenses incurred by the Ministry of Health, as there have also been expenditures from other departments.
Due to the pandemic, the expenses are ongoing, and updated information will be provided periodically, according to the Ministry of Health.
Expenditures include:
- Maintenance of repurposed medical centers: $3,040,513,750
- Payments to multi-profile medical centers (contractual prices): $529,118,100
- Incentives related to COVID-19: $826,126,809
- Maintenance of temporary isolation facilities: $393,021,823
- Provision of protective equipment: $876,067,744
- Supply of medications and other necessities: $1,840,022,459
- Provision of medical equipment: $2,871,480,038
- Renovation of medical centers: $795,893,317
- Payments for the needs of other state bodies: $277,290,229
Total: $11,449,534,268
