A New Annex Will Be Built in the National Assembly Area

The Head of the National Assembly Staff, Tigran Galstyan, has made a post on his Facebook page, inviting the attention of design companies.

“A competition has been announced for the design of a new annex building within the territory of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The characteristics include:

1. The commission consists of 10 members, representing the Construction Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the National Assembly, the City Hall of Yerevan, the Chamber of Architects, and is predominantly professional.
2. The main evaluation criterion is not the price proposal, but the professional staff and the sketch project submitted with the competition application.
3. Regardless of the results of the competition, a prize fund has been established for the best three sketch projects, in the amounts of 1 million, 500 thousand, and 300 thousand Armenian drams respectively.
