Two More Arrested in Case of Alcohol Poisoning
The Investigative Committee of Armenia's Armavir region has reported the arrest of two additional individuals in connection with the alcohol poisoning case involving residents of Armavir city. This was announced by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
Earlier, it was reported that a criminal case was initiated by the Armavir regional investigative department under Article 279, part 3 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, which pertains to the distribution or sale of products, performance of work, or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements. One resident of Armavir, Ashot Lendrush's Hovsepyan, born in 1970, was arrested on suspicion of selling products that did not comply with safety requirements.
Following investigative and procedural actions carried out in the criminal case, as well as operational measures undertaken, two more individuals were arrested. The preliminary investigation continues.
