21 UAZ Type Off-Road Ambulances to Be Donated to Regional Medical Centers

The agenda for tomorrow's government meeting includes a decision on the donation of 21 UAZ type off-road ambulances to regional medical organizations, along with medical equipment and supplies purchased for their outfitting.

These supplies are provided within the framework of the state budget by the Ministry of Health. The ambulance service primarily operates within the structure of medical centers, and the acquired vehicles and equipment are proposed to be donated to selected regional medical centers, with the condition that they are used exclusively for the provision of medical assistance services.

The selection of medical centers has been made based on the needs presented by the regional administrations, each time guided by the number of the population served by the respective medical center, the technical condition of the existing vehicles, the level of equipment, and the geographical position of the served locality. A total of 298,200,000 AMD has been spent for the procurement of the vehicles.
