According to a decision made by the Armenian Government in an extraordinary session on August 12, individuals who are not Armenian citizens can enter Armenia via air travel. The opportunity for foreign citizens to obtain a visa at the border crossing points of Armenia has been eliminated. Foreign citizens can obtain an entry permit to Armenia only through Armenian diplomatic services abroad (embassy, consulate, consular office) or via the e-visa electronic system.

Any individual entering the territory of the Republic of Armenia, if they show no symptoms and are not hospitalized, can choose either to self-isolate for a 14-day period or undergo a PCR test during self-isolation and leave self-isolation upon receiving a negative test result.
