In general, the government system has failed to stand out for its effective crisis management during the pandemic. The crisis has placed great responsibility on the authorities, and they will likely try to salvage their image and halt the decline in their ratings. This may happen by revitalizing the management system, as underperforming and incompetent officials are replaced by professionals.
