Police Discover Illegal Weapons and Suspected Drugs in a House in Arai Village
Officers from the Aragatcoten Regional Department of the Police and the Aparan Division visited a house in Arai village on August 21. They had obtained information from the Criminal Police main department that the 49-year-old owner was storing illegal weapons and narcotics.
The owner was summoned to the Aparan police division, where after a discussion, he presented the officers with factory-made handguns, one of which was a revolver loaded with gold-colored bullets, over 100 rounds of 5.6 mm caliber ammunition, parts of a handgun, and substances resembling marijuana weighing over 9 grams, along with droppers and more.
The discoveries were seized. Expert examinations have been appointed. The circumstances are being clarified.
