6 COVID-19 Deaths Recorded in the Last 24 Hours, Youngest Aged 51

The Ministry of Health of Armenia reports that the deceased patients were aged 84 (female), 75 (male), 85 (female), 92 (female), 82 (male), and 51 (female). All had accompanying chronic illnesses.

On the previous day, 2 deaths were recorded, where patients were confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus, but the cause of death was related to another illness. The total number of such cases has reached 253.

As of August 21 at 11:00 AM, a total of 42,477 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 35,693 have recovered and 842 have resulted in death. Currently, 5,689 patients are receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 192,199 tests have been conducted.

Thus, there are 158 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 217 recoveries.
