Lavrov to Meet with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Bayramov on August 26: Zakharova

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, announced during a weekly press briefing that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart on August 26.

"At the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will make an official visit to the Russian Federation on August 26. Negotiations will take place between the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries, during which a wide range of issues is expected to be discussed, including matters related to bilateral relations and regional and international agendas," said Zakharova.

She added that the Azerbaijani minister will also hold meetings with the Russian government and the Federal Assembly.
