Lukashenko Confirms New Government Composition
The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has confirmed the new composition of the government. The President's press service announced that by decree, Roman Golovchenko has been reappointed as Prime Minister. In another decree, the President appointed new members to the government.
Roman Golovchenko has held the position of Prime Minister of Belarus since June 4, 2020. The country’s government submitted its resignation on August 17, following the constitutional requirements after the presidential elections that took place in the country.
