VIDEO: Belarusian Interior Ministry Reports Third Death in Protests
The Belarusian Interior Ministry has reported yet another death of a protester, according to Pravda.ru. A 19-year-old was struck by a "Renault" vehicle on the night of August 16, around 3:20 AM, the ministry's press secretary wrote on Telegram, adding that the deceased was among the participants in the protests taking place in Minsk.
"At the time of the accident, the young man was in a busy section of the street. The driver of a Volkswagen saw him and warned him of the impending danger, asking him to return to the sidewalk. However, the young man ignored the advice and some time later fell and was struck by another vehicle," the ministry's press secretary noted.
