Details on Citizens Who Died from Coronavirus

The Ministry of Health of Armenia reports: As of August 17, at 11:00 AM, a total of 41,701 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 34,655 have recovered, and 824 have resulted in death. Currently, 5,978 patients are receiving treatment for coronavirus infection. In total, 185,594 tests have been conducted.

Thus, we have 38 newly confirmed cases of coronavirus disease and 71 recoveries. Regarding the fatalities, the patients were aged 72 (female), 82 (female), 59 (male), 82 (female), 74 (female), and 45 (male). All had underlying chronic conditions. The previous day, one death was recorded where the patient tested positive for coronavirus, but the death was due to another illness. The total number of such cases is 244.
