Criminal Case Initiated in Murder of 25-Year-Old Woman

The Investigative Committee of Armenia reports that on August 17, 2020, around 15:00, employees of the Central Division of the police discovered the body of a 25-year-old resident of Yerevan on Hovsepyan Street, with bodily injuries to the neck and face.

"A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative division of the Center and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan under the first part of Article 104 (murder) of the Criminal Code of Armenia. An examination of the crime scene has been conducted, and forensic medical and genetic examinations have been appointed. The investigation is ongoing," the statement said.
