BBC HARDtalk Challenges Aliyev

BBC's HARDtalk host Stephen Sackur has publicly invited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to participate in the show following his interview with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This invitation was announced by Sackur on his Twitter account.

“My conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan resonated widely both in Armenia and Azerbaijan. The world needs to hear from both sides,” he wrote.

It is worth noting that during the BBC HARDtalk episode, the questions directed at the Armenian Prime Minister covered topics such as Armenia's economy, the COVID-19 situation in the country, developments surrounding the Constitutional Court, Armenia's relations with Russia, Iran, the West, and NATO, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
