Major Car Accident in Tavush Province: 20-Year-Old Driver Crashes into Iron Barrier

At around 18:15, 20-year-old Partev K., a resident of Aچajur village, lost control of his VAZ-2107 vehicle at the end of Aچajur village, on the section of road leading to Makravanq, under circumstances that are still unknown, and crashed into an iron barrier.

As a result of the accident, driver Partev K. and passengers, 16-year-old Sarmen S., also a resident of Aچajur village, and 20-year-old Valeri Ts. from Abovyan city, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Ijevan Medical Center.

Citizens and emergency responders from the Tavush Provincial Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly removed the injured from the vehicle. The Road Police's 2nd Police Battalion's 4th Company, led by Company Commander Edgar Suslyan and Platoon Commander Karen Abazyan, also arrived at the scene quickly.
