The Next Peacekeeping Contingent Has Departed for Afghanistan

On August 13, the next contingent of the Armenian Armed Forces' peacekeeping brigade has departed for Afghanistan. This information was reported on the official website of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The Armenian contingent will participate in training courses and pre-deployment exercises, after which it will carry out a peacekeeping mission as part of the international security assistance forces in Afghanistan.

It is noted that Armenian peacekeepers have consistently upheld the honor of Armenia and the Armenian soldier, receiving high praise from higher command as well as senior military officials from abroad during their missions.
