Mané Tandilyan Receives Treatment in Australia
Yesterday, one of the founding members of the "Enlightened Armenia" party, Mané Tandilyan, announced her decision to resign from her mandate and leave the party's council. Immediately, suspicions arose that there might be underlying political motives at play, similar to the situation with the "Prosperous Armenia" party, indicating a process to undermine the opposition.
Mané Tandilyan is considered a leading figure in the party and has previously served in Nikol Pashinyan's government. Following her departure, she has adopted a rather passive stance, almost entirely refraining from participating in significant clashes between the LHK and the “My Step” alliance.
However, sources from the “Enlightened Armenia” party confirmed that the reason for her resignation is health-related, as she requires long-term treatment and felt unable to play an active role as an MP. Furthermore, our sources revealed that she has been abroad for an extended period, currently receiving treatment in Australia. Due to complications arising from the coronavirus pandemic, returning to Armenia poses challenges, leading her to decide to step away from active politics and focus on her health issues. She is resigning from her mandate and the LHK council to allow someone else to take a more active role in the party.
