Yesterday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's public advisor Artak Gasparyan announced that he is stepping down from his position. He posted a farewell message in Russian on Facebook, stating that the direction he had been advising has lost its relevance, but everything is going well, and he still believes in Nikol Pashinyan and similar statements.

Former ceramist Artachok considers his mission accomplished, although no one knows what advice he provided in his role as a consultant to the prime minister. Instead, we know that he is a close friend of Hayk Matoryan and, as we previously reported, participated in consultations held by the mayor despite not holding an official title.

The mission is considered complete because the only task he accomplished during this period was promoting Hayk Matoryan to the position of mayor of Yerevan. Thanks to his direct and very intense efforts, the idea of appointing Matoryan as mayor emerged; he smoothed over various difficulties along the way, enabling his actor friend to occupy what can be termed Armenia's third highest office.

Now, given that it is clear the choice of the person holding the position of Yerevan's mayor has been incorrect and that Hayk Matoryan has failed as mayor, Artachok's substantial contribution to this failure cannot be overlooked, which means it is the right time for him to leave the stage.
