Artak Davtyan Presents New Weapons Undergoing Testing

The chairman of the Defense Industry Committee of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, Artak Davtyan, has been making visits to enterprises in the Armenian defense industry complex. According to a statement from the ministry, the committee chairman is getting acquainted with the sector's capabilities, development directions, production capacities, prospective programs, and cutting-edge developments, and is engaging in discussions with manufacturing companies.

During his visits, the committee chairman is presented not only with weapons that have already been supplied to the Armed Forces and are successfully utilized, but also with projects at various stages of development, many of which are already in the testing phase, while others are still in the idea formulation stage.

Manufacturers of the defense industry complex have shared issues and challenges influenced by the epidemic situation and other factors that hinder their normal operations, as well as current innovative solutions and opportunities for future development.

Addressing the raised issues, Artak Davtyan stated that the Defense Industry Committee will attempt to find solutions as soon as possible, creating more favorable conditions for Armenian defense industry producers.
