Armenian President's Statement on Ganja Raises Serious Concerns in Azerbaijan

During a meeting with youth yesterday, President Harutyunyan's remarks regarding Ganja have sparked a wave of serious concerns in Azerbaijan, as evident in statements issued by the country’s Ministry of Defense and various media publications. This was noted by Vahram Poghosyan, the spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Artsakh, on his social media page.

“It is noteworthy that constructive statements made at the highest level from Artsakh have typically gone unnoticed in Baku, simply left unaddressed. However, today they find themselves in an unexpected situation, becoming agitated by the firm statements from official Stepanakert that align with their conduct, and urging the international community to respond with disappointment… P.S. A strong and dignified stance commands respect,” he wrote.

It is recalled that in his conversation with youth the day before, the President had also stated that if the adversary attempts to drop a very small shell or bomb on Stepanakert, the response will be in Ganja.
