Karen Barseghyan Appeals to Fans Not to Gather at the Stadium on Van's Match Day

Karlen Barseghyan, the vice-president of FC Van, has published an open letter on the club's Facebook page addressing the fans. It’s worth noting that FC Van will hold its first match against Gandzasar-Kapan tomorrow, August 15.

“Dear football fans, as you know, this year we will be competing in the VBET Armenian Premier League, and once again I congratulate us all on this. I have an immense desire to see our stadium filled to the brim for this historic match tomorrow so we can celebrate together. Unfortunately, due to the current situation and the decision of the authorities, matches will be held without spectators. I fully understand this and have mentioned numerous times that the most important part of football is the fans, and we play for you. However, at this time, it is simply impossible. Therefore, I kindly ask you not to gather in the vicinity of the stadium on match day for your own health. I am confident that soon the day will come when we will once again rejoice at the games together. You can watch our match via live broadcast, and you can cheer for the team on social media.
