Group Crosses Armenia-Georgia Border Illegally, Arrests Made

As a result of operational-investigative measures, employees of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have detained four foreigners for illegally crossing the state border. The crime carries a penalty of 4 to 5 years.

According to ptn.ge, the investigation revealed that they bypassed the Georgian border checkpoint and illegally infiltrated Georgian territory from the Republic of Armenia as a group.
