Group Crossed Armenian-Georgian Border Months Ago: Clarification from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Recently, we reported that Georgian media had spread information about a four-member group illegally crossing the Armenian-Georgian border. Auroranews contacted the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan, to clarify the details.

We specifically inquired about the credibility of the news and whether the individuals who crossed the border are citizens of Armenia and of Armenian ethnicity.

“According to our information, the incident happened several months ago. It is surprising why the Georgian media is spreading the news again. However, I would like to note that the individuals who crossed the Armenian-Georgian border illegally months ago are not of Armenian ethnicity and do not hold Armenian citizenship,” stated the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
