Entry Permitted to Armenia for Non-Citizens

The gradual easing of restrictions has resulted in the permission for non-citizens to enter Armenia. This was announced by the Armenian Tourism Committee.

The announcement specifically states: "Due to the gradual relaxation of restrictions, non-citizens are now allowed to enter Armenia. Currently, the procedure for entry is as follows:

Upon entering Armenia by air, a medical examination is immediately conducted to detect the presence of the virus or any symptoms of infection. Following the examination, the individual entering is subject to a 14-day self-isolation period unless symptoms necessitate hospitalization or other restrictive measures.

During self-isolation, the individual can voluntarily undergo testing for the coronavirus (COVID-19) on a paid basis. Moreover, during isolation, sample collection for the PCR test must be conducted exclusively at the individual's self-isolation location, through visits from laboratory specialists.

If the PCR test returns a negative result, the individual can exit self-isolation. In addition to the listed laboratories, PCR testing is available in almost all private medical centers.

Comprehensive information is also available in three languages—English, Russian, and French—on Armenia's official tourism website at the following link: https://armenia.travel/en/covid19-traveler-information.
