Israel and UAE Reach Agreement on Normalizing Relations
Israel and the United Arab Emirates have reached an agreement on normalizing relations. This occurred with the mediation of the United States. The United Arab Emirates became the third Arab country to establish normal political and economic relations with Israel.
“Today we achieved a tremendous success. This is a historic peace agreement between our great friend Israel and the United Arab Emirates,” said President Donald Trump.
According to the terms of the agreement, Israel has agreed to suspend the implementation of plans to annex parts of Palestinian territories and not to declare sovereignty over the entire West Bank.
