State of Emergency Extended

The state of emergency has been extended until September 11. This was announced by Arthur Hovhannisyan, a member of the "My Step" faction of the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.

"This is the 5th and hopefully the last extension. The National Assembly will convene a special session in the coming hours to discuss in detail the proposed amendments regarding the extension of the state of emergency. The only effective measure in the fight against the pandemic remains the strict adherence to the rule of wearing masks by each of us," he wrote.
