Lebanese Media Responds to Humanitarian Aid Sent from Armenia

The Lebanese National News Agency has addressed the humanitarian aid sent from Armenia. According to reports from Armenpress, the third Armenian plane has arrived in Beirut, bringing 12 tons of assistance.

The aircraft, which departed from Armenia, was welcomed at Beirut International Airport by representatives of the Lebanese Armed Forces. The over 12 tons of humanitarian aid sent to Lebanon included food, textiles, computer equipment, and medicines, selected based on the needs presented by the receiving side.

The first flight from Armenia took place on August 8, followed by a second flight on August 9, on behalf of the people of Artsakh. The planes transported humanitarian aid intended to assist those affected by the explosion that occurred at the Beirut port on August 4.

Approximately 100 Armenians arrived in Armenia from Lebanon on the three planes, as they had housing issues in Beirut following the explosion at the port.
